The Steinway Society lost two long-time board members this year: Eva Krzewinski, who was active in the Orlando arts community for many years, and singer Jaqueline Jones, a founding board member and respected performer in the central Florida community. They will be missed but their legacy remains.
Eva, who was active in several Central Florida arts organizations, would light up the room at events and galas. She was a dedicated Steinway board member and supporter, especially of the annual Diva gala. We will miss her cheerful presence. Fans will remember Jackie performing in over a decade of Steinway Concert-Giftings and starring in its annual “Divas” fundraisers. Jackie has performed jazz and gospel music since her teens -- over much of the globe during her years with the USO, in cities across the US and many years in Orlando; she founded ‘Monday Night Jazz”. She will be so missed. (other founding Steinway members were Gary and Kathy Grimes, Billy Hall, Don Black, Yvonne Coleman and others.).
The Society morns the loss of Board members Eva Krzewinski and Jacqueline Jones.
