The Steinway Society of Central Florida Spring Concert features a tribute to Jacqueline Jones, the late founding Board member and celebrated performer Sun., May 19 at 2:30 pm at Steinway Piano Galleries, Ashby Square, 520 W. Hwy. 436 Altamonte Springs, FL 32714, sponsored by Helpful Hands. A music scholarship in her memory will be announced by Society President Gary Grimes. Ms. Jones, a founding board member and beloved supporter, headlined most Steinway concerts and Divas galas.
Performers include Gale Murphy and Davonda Simmons plus testimonials from those who worked with Ms. Jones. Pianos, funded by Helpful Hands, will be awarded to selected students. Tickets are $10 at the door and free to children and Steinway Society members. Jackie will be missed.
