To stimulate and nourish the musical knowledge and artistic talents of disadvantaged youth by providing piano lessons.
To provide an opportunity for young piano students, proficient in their skills, to work toward a higher level of excellence.
To encourage performance experience, audition preparation, and scholarship assistance to further study in classical and jazz piano.
To provide musically talented students with an acoustic piano through the establishment of the Piano Bank.
All monies generated through memberships, donations and fundraisers are for the purpose of providing more lessons and pianos to young pianists. The Society may also sponsor musical events such as concerts, recitals and Piano Gifting events for the benefit of the students and its members.

The Steinway Society of Central Florida, established in 2006, provides the "gift of music" to economically challenged children through its piano bank, the gifting of pianos to deserving children, and scholarships to its education program of complimentary music lessons in community centers and Boys and Girls Clubs throughout Central Florida.
